All the positive things I can say about "Sacred Love"
Hi here's my summary of the positive aspects of "Sacred Love": ... that's no joke I don't want to start any trouble in the mailing list...but compared to this record BND was a masterpiece. I'm just bored by the new record. If anyone is interested I can go into detail. Dietmar
WOW< I loved this cd the first time I heard it, and I love it more with each and every listening!!! What don't you like about it? ( Besides the drum thing!!) marilyn on 9/22/03 11:54 AM, DtmrCls@aol.com at DtmrCls@aol.com wrote:

Hi there! Well, I've been in this list for years, don't even remember when I joined, but now I wanna say few things when I've read these conversations... It feels that there are quite a lot of people who haven't liked single Sting song since let's say Soul Cages -era. I don't remember comments about TST, but it has seemed like MF was mainly rubbish, BND was quite awful and now SL... Just popped into my mind, if you don't like them, why do you keep listening to them? The Police won't come back and probably Sting won't ever do that kind of music again. It's a sad fact. I like every record Sting has made. In fact I like his records better than Polices. But it doesn't make Police records any worse! Times have changed and in my opinion, gladly has also Sting. It's better to go forward than just stop in one style, just look at Elton John..."same" songs in every new record, nothing new, everything sounds the same. (Sorry if there are Sir Eltons fans) About the thing of "growing" into records, happens to me all the time. It's an awful feeling when you get your favourite artists new record and it doesn't work for you at the first times... But good songs and records need time to grow on you and I think it's one of the main reasons you keep listening them over and over again, for years and years...and that's what happened to me with every single Sting, Phil Collins, Seal, Queen, Genesis etc.etc. record. And finally you have every right to dislike what ever you want. It's everybodys personal "problem". Just my 2 cents... T I M O
My two cents: I stopped buying Sting CDÂs after TST. Unfortunately, it took four solo studio albums for me to figure out that Sting was done making the music I like. I still like some of what he does live, but the studio albums just donÂt do it for me. I appreciate the negative reviews since now I know that I donÂt have to waste on money on this album either.
