Run to your record store!!
Well, as soon as I could get away from the office, I went directly to the store for Chris Botti's CD. I got the dual disc, with the DVD on the back -- watching it now for the first time. It is excellent -- there is no other word. And the track that Sting sings "for me" (What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life")... well, let's just say that it is even better than I have imagined (and I have been imagining since April, when I met him!!!). He brought in Christian McBride on bass and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, and it has a smooth jazz flavor that is perfectly delicious. Actually, "perfect" is another good descriptor! Okay, I'm prejudiced, but trust me, it's as good as it gets for that sort of song. If you're not familiar with the song, you're in for a treat. If you *are* familiar with it... well, it's a treat for you too! ;-) I know we've often gone back and forth about whether or not Sting lurks here, or has a lurker lurking (wow -- I have gone nuts!); well, if you're here, Sting, thank you. A humble, happy thank you. And to my fellow listers: seriously; go get this CD. This track alone is worth the price. May your day be as wonderful as mine, Holly
