but I would NOT call it boring.
You want boring, go to a James Taylor concert! Not to bash any JT fans out there, but it was the first and only time I ever fell asleep at a concert! I certainly wouldn't subject myself to that again. If there's anyone out there that's stuck with a ticket to a "boring" Sting concert out there, I'm sure there'd be plenty of takers willing to pay full price. I loved him with the Police too, but things change and I've accepted that. Time for everyone to either dump him, dump the dream of the Police reuniting or to accept Sting for his musical genius. I don't think even if they did reunite, that magic would come back. I certainly didn't get that feeling when they reunited for the RRHoF. my .02 michelle in tx
This should be in the FAQ!!! Did anyone see Sting on Ellen? He looked awesome, no beard, no skirt, great hair! He played Walking on the Moon, Stolen Car, and while he was sitting and chatting with Ellen he pulled out a guitar and did an acoustic version of the song from Cold Mountain. Ellen told him that Inside should be the next single! Ellen also picked an audience member's name from a hat, and Sting went down to the audience and gave her 2 tix for that night's show- and a nice big kiss too. She was pretty awestruck!! on 2/11/04 10:14 PM, Stingfan222@aol.com at Stingfan222@aol.com wrote:

Yeah! My sister who was home sick taped it for me and I got to watch it this morning. I had to bring it into work to watch the tape since I never seem to get use of the TV at my house (what was the reason we had kids?) My coworker and I watched it before work - she just kept repeating "He's sooo gorgeous" like a mantra! He did some pretty funny joking about what he called his kilt and his not baring all as did some other superstar recently; which made me remember the first time I had seen him in concert over 15 years ago - he took off his shirt and shocked me! :) Paula
