I wonder if Joe knew of Weller's disdain for his dad when Fiction Plane opened for him in 2003: http://www.geffen.com/artist/news/default.aspx/nid/3788/aid/131 My wife and I were at that show. Fiction Plane rocked as usual, but Weller was unimpressive. Maybe that's where his grudge with Joe's dad started.... _____ From: police-bounces+fredberthelot=earthlink.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:police-bounces+fredberthelot=earthlink.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of David Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2007 10:31 PM Cc: Sting Subject: Re: [Police] Paul Weller spits on stings image So, would you care to post a link or something? Who's Paul Weller? Why should I care? I'm getting The Ultimate Police Fix (or "TUPF" as it is commonly called, the sound of a fan's head exploding as The Police take the stage) in a few months and could really care less about some over-pumped media cockhammer taking aim at someone more successful than he is. Wow. ok, rant off : ) Please do post a link, though, Ross! David On 4/3/07, rossv <rossv@shaw.ca> wrote: Apparently this guy has it in for Sting. such behaviour says more about him, than Sting. Weller - think the Jam and Style Council and the ubiquitous Mod concentric circles of orange/white/blue - he was part of Mod revival The Jam is sometimes promoted as most popular English punk band in the 70s - you'd go to show and see the Clash, the Jam and the Buzzcocks... Weller got into Motown and is sooooo mild I'm suprised he isn't compared to Sting - The Jam I think outsold the Clash but if you asked me to name even ONE of their songs I'd be at a loss, but the Clash now, they're on my iPod many times over. How do I know so much about him? He's plastered all over my son's bedroom! He's more of a hero in England than an international star.
Does anyone know who composed the songs on the following album? I downloaded the music from emusic.com and I am hoping that someone Has the actual CD and it says who write the music.
