Go to sea-shop after four...???
I just relistened to an old live version of Jeremiah Blues and noticed Sting saying something like "go to sea shop (or C-sharp??) after four" at some point. Is this a quote from a song (like "If I were a carpenter" in Why Should I Cry For You) or what? I think this has been discussed here a long time ago, but I don't remember what the answer was. Anyone know? __________________________________________________________ "And my sanity scans the horizon" (Sting, "The wild wild sea") http://www.geocities.com/mikkelshule
This was from the Timothy White sessions back in 1991... He instructed the band to: "Go to C# (C-sharp) after 4," and if you listen after the count-off, sure enough the key that the song is in changes. (although I still can't tell you the original key) No hidden meanings... just a key change. :) Steve On Thu, 15 Nov 2001, Mikkel Z. Herold wrote:

I think this is from the Chicago Sessions recording and what he says is "Go to C# after four" It's a musical instruction meaning to change to the key of C# (C Sharp) after four beats. (Maybe measures... I'm not an expert and I don't have the recording hear to listen to...) --- "Mikkel Z. Herold" <engmzh@stud.hum.au.dk> wrote:
