I ordered it from the site even though I know it is in stores now, because it comes with so many extras. I personally liked the lute album, but I like that kind of music anyway, and the fact that it was from Sting was just a bonus for me! I'm sorry to hear that the vocals aren't so great -- do you think the music got caught in that frightful beard? I'll let you know what I think -- whenever I get it! Thanks for the replies and support! Regardless of our differing opinions, one thing is universally true: we have the best list anywhere! PS -- What do you think of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee nominations? As far as I'm concerned, there are some glaring omissions, notably Jethro Tull/Ian Andersen and Emerson Lake and Palmer, not to mention the Moody Blues and Eurythmics. Among the nominees are LL Cool J and Donna Summer. How they got nominated before the acts I mentioned (and I could have mentioned many more!), I cannot imagine. I think Sting will be eligible next year (as a solo act). It will be interesting to see if he gets nominated in his first year of eligibility. I think he will, but given the nominees this year, who knows? Have a great weekend, everyone. Holly
I've had it nearly 3 weeks --- don't like it, at all. However, Soul Cake is quite catchy, but the rest is just....blah. Make a proper newer album please - Kipper, all is forgiven! Jason in cold Ireland.
...i have it for 2 weeks now, but i'm still waiting for some snow to have the right atmosphere here... someone asked for food / wine from "Il Palagio", i don't know if that exist, here is a shop for Honey + Olive Oil www.savoria.co.uk peace Simon ----Ursprüngliche Nachricht---- Von: jdaly74@gmail.com Datum: 06.11.2009 13:07 An: <police@mailman.xmission.com>, <sweetmomb@cs.com> Betreff: Re: [Police] CD I've had it nearly 3 weeks --- don't like it, at all. Be careful ordering from them, however - my fiance ordered a case each of the Il Palagio honey and olive oil this past summer from Savoria, was charged on his credit card for it, and as of yet nothing has arrived. Attempts to get this matter resolved through Savoria have been wholly unsatisfactory to date. It's a shame as we regularly order specialty food products from Italy through other suppliers without problem. I know a couple people who got their Savoria orders ok, but based on our own experiences (and being out a substantial amount of money until we can resolve this!) I would not recommend ordering from them at this point in time to anyone. sockii
Thank you for the heads up. Is there any chance there are other suppliers that offer prodcuts from Il Palagio ? David[MiaS] On Thu, Nov 12, 2009 at 7:21 AM, sockii <sockii@earthlink.net> wrote:
