Re: [Police] More Ticket@#! Crap
Hey Trent, Where were you trying to get tix for? I know in the first 10 minutes of all the presales I've tried, I was getting crap, or "nothing available" back from ticketbastard. I hung in there and finally was tossed various seats, and then a pretty good floor seat for one of them. Granted, my looking for one seat may be the difference though. I don't know how it happens, but I think people get in on the sale quicker than us, have them in their baskets just long enough for us to get frustrated, then dump them back, hence the "new" tickets available. I don't trust them in the least bit, but I truly don't think they hold back the presale ticket pool to force people to buy a second membership later in the day. Then again, maybe I'm Pollyanna. If you don't have any takers for your $90 seats, let me know what show it is. I have friends crawling out of the woodwork around the country thinking I can buy tix for them. Have enough problems getting my own, I'm supposed to stress about THEM too???? You're going to see the POLICE!!! Michelle in tx In a message dated 3/2/07 10:39:30 AM, triggs@rocketmail.com writes:
I can't believe all of the problems we're having with tickets. I was in the air on Wednesday, so my wife tried for tickets and all of the Best Buy reservations were gone in 30 seconds. So I went for fanclub tickets this morning.. Right at 10 I got the code, went to Ticketmaster, entered the code (failed to recognize it), repeated that 3 or 4 times and then it took. I went for 2 tickets "Best Available" and got $90 seats in the back of the arena. I was bummed but took them.
Now (some 7 hours later), I just couldn't let go so I went back through the process and selected "$225 Seats". Lo and behold, they were available! Why they didn't give them to me this morning baffles me (and pisses me off). So they also gladly signed me up for a 2nd fanclub membership since I used my code once already. I have to call somebody on this because it pisses me off too much.
Trent ..wondering how I can start up a monopolistic company and screw over my customers, too.

The 2 extra tickets are for the St. Paul show on July 3. Section 107, Row 22. Not bad seats, but they aren't what I wanted, for sure! I don't have them in hand yet, but will gladly be willing to give them up for anyone who needs seats. I've appealed my case to the fanclub and asked them not to charge me for a 2nd membership. We'll see how far I get. Trent in MPLS --- Stingfan222@aol.com wrote:
