Ohhhh, I'm afraid "going against everything the guy has been about" has left the guy in the past couple of years. The guy is about money. I don't like his music any less for it,
You know I'm with you on this--but I don't have the feeling that it's about money perse. I think it's about fame and being seen (which probably sounds shallow, but oh well). He's been on top of the world, and I guess that having been there...he still wants to have some of that feeling. Think of the commercials as videos with a voice over. ;) Really, the same stuff was going on back in the 80's with MTV. Every product under the sun wanted to be promoted in a video. Now, the products want the artists--it's just switched.
my new little endearment when people ask me what's new with him. "You mean my little media whore?"
Lol, hilarious! Teri Life's too short to be cynical--now sarcastic yes. Teri, you seem to have a love for the word cynical, or cynicism, and I am curious how you come to these judgements so quickly on the basis of an email. The comments I made about sting were valid, it is actually something that is being talked about in the trade at the moment as it is a recurring issue. I am also one of the least cynical people you will ever meet, so I found it amusing. Optimism is the food of life Jer ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today!
