Re: [Police] Auction at ticketmaster! today Tuesday
Yes, they do. Nothing like being raped by them for years. I've been saying ticketbastard so long that when I went to log in at the airport yesterday, I actually typed in ticketbastard.com. m In a message dated 2/13/07 8:38:12 AM, tenders@loyola.edu writes:

I HATE these guys so much.... they are just gouging the fans for as much as they possibly can. Assholes.
Anyhow... that opening bid is per ticket, and they're in groups of two. So basically, if they're auctioning off all the tickets that are listed below, there is now way to get seats in the first couple of rows in those sections unless you buy in to their crap and pay their inflated auction prices for the tickets.
They suck.

Does anyone know who gets the cash on these? I had assumed at least some percentage would go to the band (and therefore Water Aid) being through the official sale. However, someone on the policetour message boards claims TM takes all but the base price of $225? That just doesn't sound right to me, but does anyone know for sure?
