So there I am at lunchtime, sitting here at the computer, when I hear something strangely familiar from outside. I... I know that bass-line. It's not. It is! I listened, heard drums and guitar come into focus, and realised that I was indeed listening to a not at all bad rendition of Demolition Man! A few neighbourhood kids have guitars and drums and can be heard practising now and then during the day, but I've never heard a tune I recognised before, much less something by My Band. Unfortunately by the time I'd wrestled with the back door (stiff) to go out to the yard to hear better, the music had stopped. But it was pretty cool. :D Still haven't worked out who it was, alas. My fourteen-year-old next-door neighbour plays guitar well and, thanks to the combined influence of me and his mum, is into the Police and Sting. But he'd be at school, so who knows... at least the younger generation is turning out okay. Ang :D
