RE: [Police] Broken Record
I just finished reading the book over the holiday, and personally, I found it to be engaging, extremely well written, and interesting. After following Sting and his career all these years, reading the same promo articles and answers to all the same questions, I thought that reading about his early life and family relationships filled in many of the gaps about his personality and person. It was also refreshing to know I was reading it firsthand. I always get tired of sorting through articles and trying to decipher whether it is the author's or Sting's opinion. Sting has proved to be a great writer! It you are at all interested in learning more about him it is a great and worthwhile read. Has anyone else finished it? It's unfortunate how The Police years go by so quickly in the last chapter, but it's great to read about Henry's involvement in the band. Those were some "really moments!"
i haven't read it all but i must say this: there is a lot more police stuff in it than has been advertised... rich --- Michelle Manoni <mlmanoni@earthlink.net> wrote:
