I'm lying in bed with my wife this morning, with a nasty Bacardi hangover and the nearly forgettable SWORDFISH rewinding in the VCR (nearly, for Hugh Jackman is quite the piece of ass, I'll admit), and I flip over to VH1 where Sting's "Fan Club" is being broadcast. The opening segment features a young woman from Park City, UT (Julie, are you out there?) who had the opportunity to "belly dance" for Sting at a Southern California appearance. I couldn't help but recall a thread on this list some months back about "belly dancing," and I'm curious whether what I just watched a little while ago pertained &/or related to those discussions.
