A quote from a review: >Where is the Sting in this 'Love'? >By Scott Galupo >...Once again, gone are all traces of that innovative little trio that Sting once fronted during rock's new wave, the Police. I am getting so sick of the comparisons of who and what Sting is now to his Police days. Why? How many of us are the same people, even remotely, we were 20 Years Ago?! (Much less ten or even five!) "Foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." -Ralph Waldo Emerson Thank god for growth, maturity, creativity, change... We should learn from our past and use it in new and exciting ways. Not everyone can agree on the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual response to this new album (and album is correct since its general definition is a collection of something), but I applaud the continuation of growth, maturity, creativity, change (...and no one said it absolutely had to be better each and every time, although I personally enjoy this album). [long, slow exhalation of air...] Sorry for the rant. I am hoping, however, someone out there in Sting-fan-land agrees with me. Peace, Love, & Sting, Jen "History will teach us nothing"
