OK, so, another Sting CD I won't buy. Sorry. Doesn't interest me. Maybe someone will give it to me for Christmas and I can check it out. --- On Thu, 6/18/09, Fred Berthelot <F.Berthelot@ramsa.com> wrote: From: Fred Berthelot <F.Berthelot@ramsa.com> Subject: [Police] Sting's new album To: "Sting-liste" <police@mailman.xmission.com> Date: Thursday, June 18, 2009, 1:12 PM Sounds like an interesting project, but it’s been SIX YEARS since his last original studio album…. http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/sting-announces-winter-album-for-fall-10... http://www.sting.com/news/news.php?uid=6252 The information contained in this communication and any enclosures or attachments may be confidential and/or proprietary. Oh don't get me wrong. The folk songs sound like a neat idea (I haven't gotten the lute album yet, though), but I was just hoping for truly originally material. Maybe he's just keeping it under wraps for now? I don't know. I would think that he'd want to come off the starting line form the Police with a big hit, like he with DotBT. Time will tell, though. At least it isn't over-produced techno-pop like that earlier one. For that I am truly thankful. On Fri, Jun 19, 2009 at 10:26 AM, Maggie White <maggie3661@yahoo.com> wrote:
