Yay! Welcome to the REAL list! I was feeling guilty not participating here nor on sting.com for the past several months. Love Sting, and was hanging on for the sake of that much of the Police w/fairly easy access, but the Lute tour has kind of thrown me for a loop. We were getting somewhere w/the Broken Music tour, had those feelings of the Police days a little bit, but the lute tour? Bought the CD (because I have to have everything sting, stew or andy does) but have yet to take the cellophane off. Guess I'm just not ready for that yet. Are my musical tastes not maturing w/my age, or am I just stuck in the 80's? I long for the day to be bouncing around to Voices, Demolition Man... whatever! Ok, you know what?  I have consumed a few adult beverages this evening, have been watching "Every Breath You Take the DVD", listening to many a bootleg and playing the HELL out of my bass and I cannot contain myself any longer.  I have not been a member of this mailing list for that long, but I just love the recent enthusiasm on this list since the mere mention of a possible Police reunion!!  When I first joined a year or two ago, I got the distinct impression that it was just a lot of pure Sting fans, meaning, I heard nothing except stuff about Sting's solo career, etc....  Please forgive me for not having faith, for I have hung in there and now realize that most everybody IS a HUGE Police fan and I was simply assuming the worst about this list.  My hat's off to you all.  I only wish that I had joined this list longer ago than I did.  I have always been first and foremost, a Police fan.  There is no other group that has made music that makes me feel the way I do when I hear a Police song!!  I hope to God that there is a reunion tour and that I might somehow have the honor of sharing that unbelievable experience with one of you fine people!

Want a treat? Watch the DVD extras and read Andy's book if you haven't already ... the two fit so beautifully together! Some of the shots or comments Stewart makes in the film are given depth in Andy's book. My procrastination (or busy schedule) paid off for once--- I didn't finish the book when it first came out, so after finishing it yesterday, I watched the commentary extra on the DVD today. Brilliant! Made my week, along w/the "rumour". Even if it doesn't pan out, the dream has been nice.
