Several years ago, I had a dream about a new Sting album I stumbled unto in the store. The album was called "The Book Of My Life." I kid you not. I've had this title in mind for years. The album was sort of a Ten Summoner's Tales album, only the songs wouldn't be tales, they would be chapters from Sting's life and the whole album would be a progression from birth to death.

Well this dream has become reality and Sting has now written a song called "The Book Of My Life." This one is a standout for me on the album. The melody is so simple yet so haunting. And the lyrics are some of Sting's most beautiful. I'd say the best lyrics since The Soul Cages. I'm just memorized when I listen to that song, and the part where he goes "All these pages are burning and all that's left is YOUUUUUUUU...." just sends shivers down my spine. This one is a masterpiece. I just hope it doesn't get overlooked live and all of you going to Paris get to hear it.
