For me, as Jer and Fred know very well, the Soul Cages is the best album and tour Sting did so far. It is the album that I always listen to in the winter times or just late in the evening with a nice martini on the rocks and candlelight ... i am just waiting for the DTS version to complete my pleasure. Second comes the DOTBT tour and album, simple mice arrangements, with a preference for the analogue CD-version opposed to the remastered one which sounds far too cold, actually, the LP sounds best ... lower i will not go, but at the far far far far end is MF ... it just never comes out of its jewel case, never ... utterly boring apart from the opener Hounds of Winter which should have been on the Soul Cages ,- )) Tora Tora, Karelaki apo tin Athina _
for ME, as many of you know, sting does not have to worry about hitting the bottom of the barrel - because with BND, he broke right through it. anything he does after it will be an improvement. and his high point: 1976-1984 rich --- frotri@panafonet.gr wrote:

Hi! It's amazing how different we are because for me MF record is a highlight of all Sting's solo stuff. I've been listening to this record so often and it brings so many emotions to my heart! And as a result to hear Hounds of Winter on the new live album is another highlight for me. And who said that Sting never changes the set-list??? ;) For the lowest point - well... should I really reply to that? :)) Cheers, Panda
