Hey all! That was very big article, though it's too bad that they kept putting this miserable mood of the band through out the whole article. And it's too bad they had to have big egos like that, i can say for myself that it's always hard to play in a band where you can't have an opinion or just play one persons songs all the time. It can become a pain after awhile, i have been through the same thing with my ex-band when i was playing bass for them for five years. It kills everything and even the respect and admiration you have for one another. Kinetic Kid __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Hi everybody from Giovanni in Milan, Italy! You should say: why the hell this kind of topic??? Ok, let's start from Brian James; old fans of the Police probably remember about this name, as in December 1978 Stewart Copeland produced some tracks written by ex-Damned Brian James, playing as weel the drums on his release 'Ain't That A Shame'. Ok, yesterday I worked with Brian James, as he was in Milan with The Lords Of The New Church (many of you will remember this band at the beginning of the '80s as opening acts for The Police, and managed by Miles Copeland. The guys are very nice and Brian James is a very friendly man; we talked about Stewart Copeland, and he said he is a very special man, a fantastic guy! (You can imagine me talking about Stewart with someone who is often in touch with him)!!! He also told me they really enjoyed on the MAD FOR THE RACKET album a couple of years ago, where they both worked together again, together with Wayne Kramer and Duff McKagan (I meet this last one many years ago). Why I worked with Brian James? Very simple, I am the label manager for the record company The Lords and Brian have their records distributed in Italy. Brian James album also include 'Ain't That A Shame', but a re-recorded version, without Stewart Copeland. And why I wrote Joe Cocker on the topic? Very simple, it's an off topic to tell the truth....but just to let you know I will play with him on 5th of May on TV, the same tv show where Sting played a couple of times called 'Quelli che il calcio'! Ciao ciao Giovanni
