If the fans really wanted a Police reunion, most likely the only way it would happen is if EVERYONE boycotted Sting shows and he heard from ALL of his fans that they wanted a Police reunion. Even then, he might not do it. Either get everyone to stop going to Sting concerts or give up on the reunion. It seems simple really, if Sting sees he can make money playing "Easy Listening" songs and people will pay big bucks, why should he get back together with the Police and play Rock? Stop going to Sting concerts if you want to see The Police.

I really wonder at this point how big a deal a Police re-union deal would really be. To me it would be huge of course. But to the general public I wonder if at this point a lot of the enthusiasm has been dampened over time. I mean I cant believe how little coverage the Police renunion for the HOF gig got. I live here in the NY area and the radio stations were not buzzing about it or anything and it just seemed to come and go without much of an impact. It just makes me wonder how big it would be. Of course the Eagles reunion was pretty big so the potential is there. What do you think..would they play Sting solo tunes as well?
