That's funny, because my husband also refers to him as "Stink". Usually when I am asked what music I like and I say Sting, the reaction I usually get is, "Oh, he was good with the Police, but I don't like his solo stuff." Or I get this blank, half bewildered stare like I had just said I liked Tom Jones or Engelbert Humperdink. It does get irritating sometimes, but these people just don't know what they're missing!
