Sorry, I just realized that the demo that I uploaded is called "It's Never Too Late." Again, if anyone has any info about this track please let me know Thanks, Sean
Hello there from Giovanni. The song 'It's Never Too Late' came out of the 'Ghost In The Machine' sessions that Sting brought to Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland before going to Montserrat and start recording the album. It has a funky-jazz & soul vibe, it reminds me some stuff from Steely Dan but although this is a good song, I think it has nothing to do with the 'Ghost In The Machine' mood, and I guess this is the reason they haven't considered including this track in the album. Maybe we will find it in the new album, or the next one, who knows; Sting sometimes got some tracks from the past to be re-recorded or destructured to make them into a new song, and this is something that happens every day for many artists.
