Hey everyone, I was always thought that this show "28-08-1980 / Fréjus / Les Arènes / FRANCE" was possibly one of the best captured live performance show the Police have ever played and the sound was very good. If you are going to be offended, please do not read the following please. But i am always curious to know what an artist says during a show, even if they express vulgarities like the following ... I have finally figured out what Sting says before he went playing Do do do Da da da. Thanks to Rogiers page i figured out the first part but the last part was not clear until i repeated it a few times. He said the words "The cunt who threw the mud at me, I'd like to rip his fucking arms off. If you are French [??]". That last part was " If you are french ... Va t'enculer !" Which means Go F*** yourself. It's really weird when you compare Sting today and Sting back then. It's 2 different people ... Angry Sting and Mellow yoga Sting. I personnally prefer angry Sting, songs were better and sung with more attitude. If anyone has the whole show on video and audio, please let me know. I would really like to have a copy of it.
