You guys should all check www.stewartcopeland.net for a new picture of the police rehearsal set up in Vancouver! I think they must have stopped rehearsing now - there was some chatter on the net that they were only there for one week - so lets wait and see what happens on Feb 11th.. Of course on Feb 12th I am sure there will be a new Police website to visit too... ----- Original Message ---- From: "police-request@mailman.xmission.com" <police-request@mailman.xmission.com> To: police@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Friday, 2 February, 2007 7:13:17 PM Subject: Police Digest, Vol 47, Issue 7 Send Police mailing list submissions to police@mailman.xmission.com To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/police or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to police-request@mailman.xmission.com You can reach the person managing the list at police-owner@mailman.xmission.com When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Police digest..." If anyone would like to start posting old images of the band on the list, I've certainly got a "Police" folder to fill on my computer. In fact, I wonder if I might make t-shirts with those iron-on sheets that have images of The Police, to have something unique to wear to the show!
David, You might enjoy checking out the gallery section at my website http://www.tookooltokalypso.org/ It's Stewart-centric but the Police area has nearly 600 pics at the moment, and I'm continually working on scanning and adding more...it's my virtual scrapbook. :-) -sockii ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Fri, 2 Feb 2007 08:56:42 -0800 (PST) From: David Lucky <dlucky711@yahoo.com> Subject: [Police] setlist To: police@mailman.xmission.com Message-ID: <543340.39395.qm@web55115.mail.re4.yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 I have to say as someone who has seen the Police back in the day I am certainly very pumped for a reunion. A tour is almost unbelievably exciting..my friends are calling and speculating about setlists etc. While I am excited I would predict a Synchronicity tour era set list. And I have to say that I will still absoloutely be pumped to see them, but for you collectors out there ..I find listening to the different Synchronicity era concerts my least favorite. They are all almost the same show and just not as exciting as any of the earlier tours. My favorite tour era has to be the Zenyatta era although I didnt see them then..ugh. But the shows from that era sound great in my opnion. What do you all think? And dont get me wrong..I am super pumped up to see a Police reunion and feeling the stress myself...how many shows, travel, money etc. etc. David ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Fri, 2 Feb 2007 12:34:15 EST From: Stingfan222@aol.com Subject: Re: [Police] Reunion setlist To: casimar@yahoo.com, police@mailman.xmission.com Message-ID: <c71.bf120a4.32f4d017@aol.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Ah, an English major! If I had seen that, it'd bug the heck out of me. I rarely check out stingus, just one thing I forget to do on my meandering of the www. Someone email them and get that fixed for goodness sake! Does it bother anyone else that Stingus refers to "Steward Copeland" in the header? I'm not sure his info is necessarily infallible...

Supposedly (according to stingus) they are rehearsing 30 songs. Think this is possible?
Maybe we can hear some rarites after all, if it's true. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stingfan222@aol.com To: burgaus@juno.com ; kappa02@yahoo.com Cc: police@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 12:59 AM Subject: Re: [Police] Reunion setlist
Ha! We wish, but fat chance. Lest we forget, Sting's probably in charge. I don't recall his solo shows varying too much right down to the same comments, looks at Dom, neck thrusts... can't teach an old dog new tricks, can we? : ) michelle
