as there are no POLICE news right now it's time to look back again Paul Marko wrote a nice book about the history of The Roxy. The book features some interview bits with Cherry Vanilla, Wayne (Jayne) County, Henry Padovani and Zecca Esquibel (Cherry's keyboard player in 1977) and some photos with Sting, Cherry and Henry the best bit for me is some information by Zecca you will probably know that the punks hated the POLICE for being phony so the band is not featured on the Roxy LP which was released in 1977 _http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=447184_ (http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?what=R&obid=447184) ironically The Police are represented on the cover ! in the middle of the photo that's not one person, but two! Zecca is leaning to the right over his keyboard the head which leans to the left belongs to Stewart who is working at his TAMA drumkit Zecca thinks that one of the persons sitting on the right is Ian Copeland there are a few ebay auctions for this LP right now you can order the book here: _http://www.roxyclub77.co.uk/pages/book.htm_ (http://www.roxyclub77.co.uk/pages/book.htm) Dietmar
