You guys are NOT serious are you? I thought I was the only one w/that affliction! So now the "Policefan Anonymous" group has an offshoot: "Scrapbookers Anonymous". I've been addicted for 13 years and have been a Creative Memories consultant for 10. I do it to pay for my scrapbooking habit and thought it would pad a concert fund. So far, that hasn't happened. If any of you seriously do scrapbook and want to check it out email me, I have a website. Some of you know my "holy grail" is getting a photo of me w/Sting, and the perfect scrapbook page is the reason why. I have some cute pages I did of Sting concerts, Fiction Plane and Chris Botti I'd be happy to share photos of if you want to see what real freaks do! A set list would make a nice addition to the scrapbook, that always eludes me as well! I do have a photo of one since I was only a hand away in Providence. The girl that got it at least let me take a picture of it~! I'm such a dork. Think I have just appointed myself Queen of the Dorks Anonymous club too, no? Michelle, Queen anything Police related fan, scrapbooker, dork, and I guess now I could add entrepreneur if I take up my neighbors suggested method of raising funds. Guess I'd have to add prisoner 67954768075 as well. I'd probably get arrested first thing! In a message dated 2/2/07 1:39:59 PM, doreliz@yahoo.com writes:
Dude, making a scrapbook is a lot of fun. You can go to a store that sells scrapbook material and the people that work there will pretty much help you out, tell you what you need and give you tips. You can also look up Creative Memories and try to find a sales rep in your area. They're scrapbooking materials are a bit more pricey but excellent quality. The Creative Memories consultants will also host "work shops" where a number of people will get together to scrapbook and then you can also learn from those around you. Just ideas in case you are really interested.

First off, I think Ross was kidding around :) After all, he got to play with Sting :P Second, I am in agreement with Mark. I will be happy to organize a party in Chicago when they come here, and I feel that working together to obtain tickets (if necessary) would be a great way to make sure everyone gets to see the boys. I am stressed out too... but I like Doreliz's idea of making a scrapbook so I can remember how awesome the stress felt years down the line! Of course, that's predicated upon my knowing how to make a scrapbook, which I don't. If anyone would like to start posting old images of the band on the list, I've certainly got a "Police" folder to fill on my computer. In fact, I wonder if I might make t-shirts with those iron-on sheets that have images of The Police, to have something unique to wear to the show! Now I'm all worked up about the reunion again... I thought I had myself under control, but no! Have a great Friday, everyone. David [MiaS]

Prior to 2003, my friend (another dedicated fan) and I fantisized about a reunion. After the R'nRoll Induction, we prayed for a reunion. Over the next few years, we basically conceeded that it would never happen. And all of a sudden, it's on the verge of happening......
This possibility is consuming my thoughts. I've loaded my computer at work with all the Police material I have. I've been inspired to buy a record player and archive digital versions of some rare LP bootlegs (including the great MM-14) on my computer. I finished Andy's book in November and revisited Sting's "Broken Music". I look at my collection of 7" singles and signed LPs that have been on my wall, in higher prominace than my medical degree, in my office. I'm considering purchasing the Andy Summers replica Fender Telecaster. All of a sudden, it's on the verge of happening.....
