Regarding Truth Hits Everybody (remix), fortunately I have an original copy of that single - it has Man In A Suitcase (live) on the other side. I don't have a turntable anymore (I got rid of my old one a couple of years ago for fear it would damage my records - this was an attempt to force myself to buy a new one, but I havn't gotten around to that yet). When I do get around to it, I'll have to figure out how to make an MP3 of it Truth - I would certainly be willing to pass a copy on to anyone who wants it. This is one of those things that really bugs me about the "complete recordings" on the box set. What a joke that was. Everyone should be able to have the remix version of Truth. I think another box set should be made of all the recordings that were missed on the first one. How Man in a Suitcase (live) got on the box set but Truth got missed when they were both from the same single originally, I'll never understand. Where are all the mono versions of Message in a Bottle, The Bed's Too Big Without You, Walking on the Moon, and Peanuts etc. What about the Spanish and Japanese versions of De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da? I happened to purchase my box set when I was living in Scotland, so I got the version with the DSSCTM 86' dance mix on it. If you purchased a North American version of the box set, you got the regular DSSCTM 86' version (which was obviously already available on CD). The live version of DSSCTM was also missing. The list goes on - those are the missing songs I can think of off the top of my head....Well, I feel much better after my little rant. So... I have an mp3 of Every Breath You Take '83, but the quality is pretty shoddy. I'm not sure how many other people will agree, but it's one of my personal Police favorites, and I always wonder what possessed "them" (whoever "they" may be) to not release the song more widely. So, I guess I'd like to know if anybody out there has any way of putting the song in a higher quality digital format. Just a simple output to CoolEdit or somesuch? For that matter, who on this list actually owns a copy of the single this was on? [Bless you if you do :) ]
Til Again, -Dave
