In my collection I ended up with two 6-packs. I bought my first one back in 1987 or 88, and paid $45 USD at the time. I got my second 6-pack (in better condition than the first) a few years later for roughly the same price, if I remember correctly. Though they weren't too difficult to find years ago, it can't be getting any easier to find them now (many have been broken up into the individual singles and sold as separate items), so my guess is you got a good deal (particularly if your DVDs are easy to replace!). Hello everybody!
Could someone tell me if I've just made a very bad affair, or maybe a good one. I traded two DVD's with TOTO and Lee Ritenour worth something like 20$ each for The Police Six pack limited edition. I've never seen this item befor (but I'm no big collector), it's six singles on blue vinyl ("The Bed's too big without you", "Roxanne", "Can't stand losing you", "So lonely", "Message in a bottle" and "Walking on the moon". There special lyric cards for each single with pictures on the back. All the records are in mint condition, as are the lyric cards and all sleeves but "So lonely", wich is slightly torn at the top, but it's not much, still good condition. It's all in a plastic "fold out" sleeve.
Well, have I been ripped off or is it a good deal?
Cheers, Patrik
