Hi everybody from Giovanni. Stewart Copeland told the fans about this news while meeting some of us in Europe in July (and I really thought it was a joke'...eheheh! Stewart said it has alway been one of his dream as a child to 'play with THE DOORS'! But I also read in the ROCK magazine that THE DOORS drummer has health problems, and Stewart may then appear, but not as the only drummer of the event. Singer Ian Astbury from THE CULT should join THE DOORS as well (I really like that man)! Let's all see what happens....even if I wish John Densmore to get his seat on the drumset! This would have posted earlier but I sent it with my other (non-subscribed) email. I've since found further information. "The Doors" will be playing September 6th at the California Speedway (outside LA) as part of the Harley-Davidson Open Road Tour. Drummer John Densmore's participation is listed as "subject to change due to health concerns." That puts us Police fans in an awkward position - as Stewart will be his replacement if he can't play.
