Yes, they used the original Sting’s background vocals. I hate it when he does that, I’m hoping it was just for this huge TV event.

 

Other than that, it was great! And they seemed so happy. Sting was nervous, that’s why he didn’t hit the notes. You also have to bear in mind that Roxanne is by far the most demanding of all his songs. And he sang it without any warm up, he usually sings it in the middle of the set. And he’s 30 years older, so his voice has naturally become lower pitched.

 

Give him a break, it was a great performance and I can’t wait to see a full show.

am I the only one who's not completely satisfied ?

that was a sting version and his voice was NOT good - didn't hit the notes - and don't say he did! - he got over them - lacking the right words in English to describe this...

 

andys guitar in the middle sounded like any guitar, but not like a police guitar
