In my many, many years of attending concerts I have learned that pre-sales are not necessarily the best way to get tickets. Only a certain number of tickets are available in certian sections of the stadium/arena and very often not the best seats. The advantage to pre-sales is you are attempting to putchase approx 20% of the seats w/ tens of thousends of other people rather than trying for 70% of the tickets w/ millions of other people (VIP's gets the other 10%)!! I have always purchased tickets in pre-sales, when I have the opportunity to, to concerts that I want to go to that are likely to sell out quickly. I always go back in when they go on sale to the general public to see if I can get better seats, and, more often than not, I get better seats during the general public sale. This is my experience, and it is quite extensive, I attend probably 10 concerts a year on average. Yes, I'm a concert junkie, but The Police is still the biggest dream come true. They are my first love and the reason why I am such a huge fan of music!!

If you purchase only 1 ticket for a show, then you can use the same code again to purchase 1 more ticketI say this from experience: My wife had a code that we used to purchase 2 tickets to a Montreal show. We could not use that code to purchase any more tickets (I tried to use that code again for the 3^rd Toronto show). I also had a code which I used my code to purchase a single ticket for the second Vancouver show and I was able to use that code again to purchase 1 ticket for the third Toronto show.
