Actually, the trick with dimeadozen.org if you're just starting there
is to just download a couple popular, newly added shows, then leave
them available for sharing for a while (if it eats up too much of your
bandwidth just run the torrents overnight or whenever you're not using
the computer.) You don't need to bring anything "new" to the site if
you don't have it, just contribute to uploading bandwidth in general
and get your share ratio (upload/download) over 1.0 to be in good
standing.
It's only good trading karma anyway :)
