I don’t think there’s a compelling argument for NOT getting the Amazon Super Deluxe Edition. There are actually three physical versions:
1) Standard CD – 12 tracks. (around $12)
2) Deluxe Edition – 17 tracks. (around $15)
3) Super Deluxe Amazon – 20 tracks. ($15.99 on Amazon)
You’ll end up spending more for 1) and 2) if you want all 20 tracks. Purchasing the physical CD on Amazon also gives you access to the digital version on the 24th.

Subject: [Police] The Last Ship [Amazon Exclusive Super Deluxe Edition]
Hi All,
Tuesday is the day.
So the SUPER deluxe version (exclusive through Amazon) has 3 extra tracks.
From http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00D6DVSAE/stingus-20
“A super deluxe edition, containing 2-discs comprised of 20 tracks within special packaging, will also be sold as a physical product exclusively at Amazon.com”
Any idea what the special packaging is? Worth it? Or may as well get the physical CD locally and purchase the extra three separately?
I’m leaning towards the latter barring a compelling argument for the physical Amazon Exclusive Super Deluxe Edition.
Cheers,
Ross
