[Police] Best Buy Presale

Hey everyone, I'm not a Best Buy rewards zone member but know a person who is going to attempt to get me his code. I would like to know how getting the code works i.e. is the code sent out before the actual presale starts or do you get the code when the presale begins. Also is this done thru Best Buy, thepolicetour.com or ticketmaster's web site? Thanks in advance, Pat
