Instead, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, and Elvis Costello will trade vocals on the Clash anthem ''London Calling,'' backed by No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal, Attractions drummer Pete Thomas, and E Street Band guitarist Steve Van Zandt.
