I got the DVD twice, and I imagine many others did too. They sent the first copy late last year and I never quite got round to watching it, perhaps because of memories of the lacklustre and much-delayed CD-ROM from my first year's membership. Then in mid-December I got another package from the fan club - another DVD with a covering letter explaining that they'd mistakenly sent out Region One DVDs to people outside North America. [For those not in the know, most DVDs don't play outside the territories they're sold in - unless you've got a multi-region DVD player.] The enclosed DVD, it said, should be suitable for play in Region Two (Europe). I still haven't got round to watching the (new) DVD, but will let you know how I get on. Funnily enough I'd half-expected something like this to happen, given how US-centric the club had become after they re-organised it in 2003 (I haven't renewed my membership since 2004, for the period of August that year to August 2005, so this was the last bit of outstanding business where I was concerned; I assume they sent all the DVDs out at the same time). I don't get why they didn't just produce the DVD on region-free discs; cheap DVD movies are often put on these, so it would hardly made it too expensive for them to produce. I'm forced to conclude that whoever organised the DVD operation just didn't know that this international stickiness about DVDs exists... I think the documentary (called "The Sweat Box") was included as an extra on the DVD of the movie. But check the details carefully; it's ages since I read this, and it might not apply for all regions/editions.
