I'm definitely still on the list and just in lurk mode for a change! So....here's what I was wondering today....how long do we all think the reunion will last before they're at each others throats again and the famous tom tom's come out?? Anne

More cowbell!!! I don't know if Anne is still on the list but I'm not sure who is lurking anymore. Nothing like a reunion to stand up and say, "Here!". Loved the yoga story!! Be well,
Chris

It's funny... In peoples' recent posts, "Come to fruition" and "All this time" have surfaced. Is it subconscious? I've got a sickness, and the only cure is more cowbell, er, Police.
Was it Anne Robinson who used to come to Chicago to meet some people? Is she still part of the list? I seem to recall her signing off from the list, officially, in the last year or so. In any case, I never got the chance to meet anyone. While I don't think Vancouver is an option (seems like a popular place here!) perhaps there will be other opportunities.
I have a confession: Last night, at yoga class, they started playing Sting's "If I Ever Lose My Faith" while I was balancing in some weird fashion. I began grinning profusely, and nearly burst out laughing. I know it's not The Police, but the whole scenario was full of synchronicity (for those who don't follow Sting, he practices(ed) yoga).
David [Man in a Suitcase] (it's a new yoga position!)

Just wanted to welcome all the lurkers and new folks on this list. I like reading all your posts. After all these years we're coming out of the woodwork or waking up like Rumpelstiltskin. It was so cool to see Pete Ashdown's post after not seeing him post much of anything for what seemed to me like years and years. I've been (lurking) on this list for at least 10 years and I've always found it a huge refuge for die-hard, true blue, pure, unadulterated Police fans!
I recently posted on the Sting.com <http://sting.com/> board and immediately felt the hostility, obsession, desperation and general soap opera cattyness. This place is like a calm oasis in comparison! I want to personally thank you Pete for managing it all this time. If I see you on a Police tour I will most certainly buy you a beer. I've met so many great people in the flesh through this list. While I was visiting Vancouver last week, Ross and I were speculating if Mr. Ashdown was still with us. I come back home and there is confirmation - Halleluja!!
I hope lots of people on this list make plans to meet up with each other if/when the tour happens. It's all about shared experiences. The Police have and surely will continue to kick ass! Cheers, Chris
