Me also to both. I mean, you make one bland album, and suddenly all your albums are bland. How quickly we forget. I remember the exhileration I felt back in 1987 for instance. I'm as big a fan of The Police as anyone, (since I was eleven years old). You know, I think it's time (been time) to finally cut the Umbilical cord. That long-standing question of whether Sting alone was responsible for the success of The Police has been well answered. I personally don't think it's fair to any of us (fans of The Police, Sting or both), or to Sting to keep comparing his solo work with that of The Police (who have passed into the world of LEGEND now). Gosh, I feel old. I know, it's like a part of teendome or youth going away. It's tragic, but it's life. I'm at a cross-roads myself... but you have to know when to say when.
