I'm on a U2 list and everyone has talked about how terrible the US TV coverage was. Apparently, the ROTW had great coverage of the concerts. But in the US it's like it would have killed MTV to show an entire song without breaking away to a commercial or commentary (the same thing, every time) from the VJs.
 
I caught the last 2 seconds of Driven to Tears after coming home from the grocery store. I flung the bags on the counter and sat to watch EBYT, melting ice cream be dammed. The ice cream didn't have long to wait, however. MTV only showed about half of EBYT then went to the announcers chatting while I could barely hear and see Sting in the background. They did that with every artist. Shameful.
