I personally don't want to hear them play any solo songs from any member of the group...and I don't think it will happen...but for the sake of this discussion (it is an interesting question) I must say that I have always wondered what Fortress Around Your Heart would have sounded like had it been a Police song. Matt - interesting that you mentioned Be Still My Beating Heart given that Andy played guitar on that track on ...Nothing Like The Sun. Also, I would love to hear Miss Gradenko live (highly unlikely, but would be amazing). I'm expecting a Synchronicity tour, part 2 (i.e. largely a "best-of" tour with a handful of other gems thrown in). And given that I never imagined a reunion tour would happen - ever - I'm not going to get upset by the set list regardless of what it is and how little it changes from night to night - I'm still in my thankful frame of mind! I have been this excited about music in a long time since hearing about the reunion. And, of course, my thoughts spun directly into what they might play. I know Sting likes the ready-made setlist, with little variation. I always hated that. Here's my idea for a setlist: have a different setlist every night. They could perform a number of hits during a 50 to 60 minute set, come back to perform one album in its entirety, then end the show with Can't Stand>Reggetta De Blanc and So Lonely (of course, they wouldn't play these during the second set if they performed Outlandos or Reggetta on that particular night). I would love to hear Zenyatta or Synchronicity live in their entirety. They would be able to please both the casual fan and the die-hard fan(that's us, yes?). Just a thought that will not ever be considered. I just so afraid we will get Synchronicity Tour Part II. Here is another thought: are there any Sting songs you would love to hear the Police play? Why not, there are some that easily could have been Police songs. I would enjoy hearing Fortress or Be Still My Beating Heart. Again, just a thought. I can't wait for the day when I can say I saw the Police perform live since the Synchronicity Tour.
