Thanks for posting this. What really struck me is the clips of the music. Particularly the clip of Dead Mans Rope at the end of the segment. I've been listening to SL quite a bit and it's beginning to grow on me. DMR is my favourite tune on the new record and I've listened to it a lot. But this version from NPR is the first time it gave me a galvanic skin response. It is MUCH better then the one on SL. The rehearsal clips of SYL were much better too. Why oh why weren't the tracks recorded/arranged/produced in this fashion? I was in Paris, and the arrangements there were not as good as on this NPR clip. I wish there was a full recording of these rehearsals we could hear. Forgive me for another lament on a very tired topic. Mark.
