I would highly doubt that the setlist would change at this point.
Sting likes to lock it in after the first couple of weeks. The "problem" with the setlist is that it covers pretty much every popular Police song. I don't think anyone would come out of the show saying "They didn't play such-and-such." The setlist is a crowd-pleaser as is, so I think that's what we're gonna get for the rest of the tour.
Pretty much. It's set at this point and I don't foresee any changes anytime soon. But really, it's not the set list that it's all about for me--they still do a lot to improvise and shake things up night to night. Last night I saw Genesis, another "reformed" touring band, and their set list hasn't changed *once* since the get-go of their tour despite having a much larger catalog of music to work from. But there was very little--if any--room for improvisation and soloing within the set, so while I enjoyed the show a lot I was still satisfied with seeing it just once. Meanwhile I'll be very happy to get to as many Police shows as I can, even if it's just the same set of songs. sockii
