STUNG celebrates the Induction of the Police into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, (and their upcoming reunion performance!) with a special tribute this Friday at NEW GEORGE'S in San Rafael. We are sharing the bill with our good pals ZOO STATION, who will be playing a great long set of U2 hits right after us! A special tribute lineup not to be missed! We last rocked together in Berkeley, it was a great show! We made them play "Bad", the long LiveAid version of it, and they just rocked it, it was awesome! In celebration of the Hall of Fame announcement (and to promote live music-going) we are offering FREE PASSES TO THE FIRST 10 RESPONSES TO THIS EMAIL FOR FRIDAY'S SHOW! We loved rocking out in our lead singer Bee's old adolescent stomping ground! Then Super Diamond rocked the house into the night and were great as always! Thanks to all the staff at the Pyramid for a great party and great beer! POLICE REUNION NEWS!!!! POLICE fans, it is finally happening! Andy, Stewart and Sting will reunite for (at least) one night to perform three songs at the induction ceremony into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in New York on March 10th, 2003. They have also been offered to perform in South Africa at the Nelson Mandela concert "Sending Out An S.O.S." ( taken from their hit "Message In A Bottle"), but Sting has yet to agree to that performance. (Grrrr!) Stewart mentioned they actually may get Bono from U2 to play the show instead!
