This is the case for a handful of shows like Ottawa and Buffalo, and it sounds like SLC too from what you said. The Jones Beach show is a ticketmaster show, and because you only purchased 2 tickets for that show, you can use your code to buy two more tickets for other ticketmaster shows...unlucky for you, SLC is not one.
