I have to disagree with whoever said that Sting's solo career will be over. I think he will be reenergized by the tour and maybe produce some of his most amazing work ever. Also, having seen the Police for my first and only time this past summer, I have to say that, while I loved the show, it *was* all their old hits,and though it was an amazing experience, it probably can't be repeated. The thing about these reunited band tours -- all of them, not just the Police -- is that they are once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most part, and offer little or nothing new; they are mainly for longtime fans who know what to expect and are willing to pay for it anyway! A last word about fan clubs: I was a $5 junior member of the Beatles fan club in the mid-60's, and that is the last fan club I belonged to! ;-) Holly in snowy PA
