Yes, I guess that we will all be relegated to watching it on VH1. This is when I wish I had some sort of connection....or lots of money. A few years ago they had talked about having a concert every year in Cleveland with some of that year's inductees participating. I guess that never took off, although it is a great idea for fans like us! The ceremony is not open to the general public. Only folks related to the bands and the big wig entertainment industry people. (Last year, one of the Corrs was there, how does crap like that happen??!)
Occasionally, tickets are auctioned for charity. Last year, a pair went for $6,000.
You really, really need to be connected to attend. I'm sure some folks we know will manage to go, but the average fan.....highly unlikely.
