This has got the potential to be Sting's most exciting tour ever. For me, the Soul Cages band/tour was superb - the Broken Music tour might rival that. Shame I won't get to see it... I think it's fair to expect some Police & Sting tunes that haven't been played recently. Now if only he'd come to Europe rather than play his third tour of the US in 18 months... I hope that there will be some decent recordings of the tour. There were very few recordings of Sacred Love shows in circulation compared with the Brand New Day tour. Just a small plea to any tapers out there! Darren

It seems to be depending on the venue...some are reportedly selling very well and others (such as Penn State) are not doing too well so far. It will be interesting to see if sales pick up after the tour starts and as the concert dates for the particular venues get closer. He is doing Jimmy Kimmel (taping tonight, airing tomorrow) as well as some radio in the LA area. I think that frankly a lot of people are not even really aware that he is in fact touring. There is a preview show in LA at the Roxy as well on Monday night. I am very interested to see the set list out of that show. In London over the weekend he did play Demolition Man, Message In A Bottle, Roxanne and Every Breath You Take ...so I take it that those will be in the set list for the tour. I think that this could be the most interesting tour yet for Sting....I for one am really looking forward to seeing it!
