I wanted to point out the "new" Police-wiki-pages to you

 

Sockii from Philadelphia had the idea to collect all the information from magazines, books, internet, ... in one single place

 

we want to illustrate all of this with photos and scans of tickets, flyers, ads, posters...

 

what we DON'T want to do is to "steal" these pictures from the internet

so we just show stuff where the owner of these items WANTS to show them on the Police-wiki

 

we don't show photos unless the copyright owners gave their permission for it

right now I'm writing a lot of solo concert pages (sting, andy, animal logic / oysterhead / ...)

 

if you want to support this idea, it would be great if you sent scans of your tickets, flyers... photos of your posters

 

or just every bit of information that you happen to know about the band - plus the source for this (if it's coming from a magazine for example)

 

I'll do the dirty work and add all the stuff on the wiki eventually.

 

If you took some photos let's say at a Sting concert we'd love to show one or two good ones and would give proper copyright credits and a link to your homepage --- as it's a non -commercial website there won't be a fee :(
