Somehow I think that the man has developed some sort of contempt for his previous life with the Police, even though it was his means of making it big...
He's got such a friggin' big head from being on his own so long and becoming the even bigger success that he and the Police were, that he obviously has no more use for that part of his life other than to use the songs to further his own career.  Am I being too harsh?  Perhaps, but it is only due to my own aggravation that the man won't come to his senses and realize what an incredible force the three of them were and could be once again!!!  Unfotunately I think that they have all changed TOO much(especially Mr Sumner) that even if they did reunite, it would not be the same.  Do any of you agree with that theory?
