I can rememeber a film with Richard Prior in which Andy performs as an comedy actor and also as a musician with his band, in both two cases doing of himself. I think this film (please help, I cannot remember its title!) was released almost at the same time that the great "World Gone Strange".

The film you're talking about is Another You, starring Richard Prior and Gene Wilder, year 1991. Interestingly, two years before another Prior-Wilder film (See No Evil, Hear No Evil) had come out, with soundtrack by Stewart. Sounds like Gene and Richard are keen on the Police, at least 2/3 of them ;-). Happy Day-after-Christmas to everyone, Michele
