Oh wow, Mike. How lucky for you. I would love to see him, them, each of them alone in an intimate environment like that. Have this feeling we won't have that chance for another 20 years when the frenzy dies down again! I hope you're able to get there too! Michelle and list, I just finished over the Holiday's reading both Wild Thing and Last Train. Both GREAT reading if you are into the Police. I wish I had the opportunity to meet and hang out with Ian Copeland. Such a great spirit. Anyway, I just wanted to echo a bit of what Michelle wrote in an earlier post. A few years back Andy Summers was touring in a van promoting his latest CD which I think was the "X" one. I'd heard that he would be passing through Nashville and so I went down there with a friend and fan of the Police. I was amazed that there were only maybe 20 people at the show! What happened that night though, was an awakening to the fact of how much of the Police sound was through Andy and his guitar. It really set me back. After the show my friend and I were finishing off our third or fourth bottle of wine and Andy came over to our table and asked how we liked the show. He joined us for a couple more bottles and we had the best hour or so shooting the bull. Great personality and a wicked sense of humor. I walked away that night feeling that I'd made a new friend, but more so realizing the HUGE contribution that Andy made in the band with the Police. I really hope I get a chance to see them live. regards, mike
